Linda A. Leonard

Linda A. Leonard (nee Hrusch), 63, passed away on Nov. 21, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio, leaving behind a life full of creativity, faith and unforgettable stories, all of them entirely Linda.

Born March 15, 1962, in Cleveland, Linda graduated from West Geauga High School and later earned her degree in Marketing and Graphic Design from Cleveland State University. She headed to Los Angeles after college, where she built an accomplished career in product development and strategic marketing.

Linda had a rare talent for spotting ideas before they existed and bring them fully to life. She held multiple global patents, founded her own diaper-bag line, Ima Rose-N- Bloom, and published two books under the pen name Beatrice Warner, with two additional novels nearly complete.

Linda approached life the way a gifted storyteller approaches the page—with wit, drama and a sparkle in her eye that made you lean in closer. She had a laugh that filled the room and a warmth that made space for everyone around her. Whether in reminiscing about her Californian escapades or putting her signature care and attention into a hearty Bolognese, she made a mundane day feel special.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to Alec (27) and Ryanne (22), who were the heart of every chapter she lived. She also cherished her first bird, Percival, family bird, Taffy, and caring for Frankie, the family dog.

Her unwavering faith grounded her and we take comfort picturing her greeted with the words she held close: “Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Mathew 25:21

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd. She is survived by her parents, Louis and Dolores (nee Perozak) Hrusch; her sisters, Carrie (Jim) Sprouse, Annette (Dean) Alcott and Jennifer Hanson; her nieces and nephews, Parveen, Michaela, Rachel, Alexa, Russell, Samantha and Dylan; and Bill Cloonan, her companion in life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to your local Humane Society. Please meet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Linda at DeJohn Funeral Homes & Celebrations Center, 12811 Chillicothe Road, on Dec. 20, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Entombment following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
