Louise Dunavan
The world lost a bright light with the passing of our beloved Mother, Louise (Helen) Dunavan. Louise passed away peacefully, Sunday Dec. 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and joining her cherished husband, Archie Eugene Dunavan, who passed on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025.
Louise’s warmth, laughter and unconditional love filled our lives with joy.
Louise was a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was a beautiful medley of resilience and love. She taught us to love fully and her spirit will continue to inspire us.
Louise is survived by her three children, Crystal (Philip) Beuck, Harold (Tara) Charles and Tabitha Charles; her six grandchildren, Madeline Charles, Alexis (Trevor) Lind, Abigail Louise Charles, Kloey Lind, Emma Charles and Katelyn Beuck; her great-grandchild Roman Ezra Allen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dalores Smith; her husband, Arche Eugene Dunavan; her sister, Lois (Phil) Woods; and two great-grandchildren, Chance Joseph Eugene Lind and Leo Michael Allen.
Louise’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and beloved dogs. She loved holidays, birthdays and any chance to get the family together.
She loved flowers, had a fondness for corresponding through cards and shared a love for fish with her late husband, Archie. Her kindness extended beyond our family, always lending a hand or an ear to friends or neighbors.
Thank you, Mom, for your unconditional love, strength and guidance. Until we meet again. Love you more!
