Nancy H. Prunty
Nancy H. Prunty, 88, of Shalersville Township, Ohio, passed away July 29, 2025, at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.
On Nov. 4, 1936, Nancy was born in Auburn Township, Ohio, to the late Walter and Hazel (nee Hull) Brockway. She has lived in Geauga County and Shalersville most of her life and retired from OEM in Aurora, where she worked as an accountant.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Gibson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Bailey, Geneieve McCurry and Alton Brockway.
Calling hours will be Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations please be made to the Salvation Army, World Wildlife Fund, National Parks Foundation or your local law enforcement agency.
