Patricia Ann Ciarlillo

Patricia Ann “Patti” Ciarlillo, age 66, passed away peacefully at home in Hambden Township on Aug. 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Euclid, Ohio, on Oct. 24, 1958, she was the daughter of Cyril Elwood Coleman and Florence Louise (nee Kingsmill) Coleman.

Patti was a true jack of all trades, but the common thread through her work was always her love of people. She owned and operated Patti’s Place, a coffee shop on Chardon Square where she found joy in building community. Later, she pursued a career in massage therapy, offering care and comfort to her clients with the same warmth and dedication she brought to all areas of her life.

Patti also had a lifelong passion for art, gardening and nurturing those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Anthony Ciarlillo; her children, Alexander (Kaili Boarman) Ciarlillo and Cassandra (Richard) Giles; her grandchildren, Willa and Rowan; her sister, Katherine (James) Tierney; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Madeline Lee Ciarlillo; her parents; and her siblings, Butch Coleman, James McElroy, Doris Kelly and Leora McElroy.

A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, whose compassionate care helped guide Patti and her family through her final days.

Patti’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her care, wit and fierce devotion to the people she loved.

Sly Family Funeral home assisted her family with arrangements. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.slyffh.com.
