Patricia Louise Fischer

She was born on Nov. 11, 1934, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to Harry Franklin and Rose Etta (née Avon) Cummings.
On Nov. 5, 1952, Patricia married the love of her life, Ronald Clem Fischer, in Oakland, Md. Together they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on Feb. 22, 2022.
In 1964, they moved to Thompson, where they built a beautiful life together and created countless cherished memories with family and friends.
Patricia worked for many years as an office administrator. Throughout her career she was employed at JJ Newbury’s in Painesville, Lockie Lee, which later became Dairymans, and Junction Auto. She took pride in her work and in the friendships she formed along the way.
She was active in her community and generously gave her time to organizations that were meaningful to her. Patricia volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America and served as a 4-H leader for the horse program. She was also a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Chardon, Ohio.
Patricia enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid reader and loved working on puzzles.
Above all else, she treasured time with her family and friends. Nothing meant more to her than the people she loved, and she found great joy in gathering with them and sharing in their lives.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Debrah (Bruce) Rohrbaugh and Bonnie (Wayne) Lette, both of Thompson; her grandchildren, Tricia (Thomas) Hart and Matthew (Courtney) Rohrbaugh; her great-grandchildren, Korbin, Dylan, Bryan and Victoria; her brother, Larry Cummings; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ronald; her brother-in-law, Gerald Fischer; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Fischer and Ruth Cummings; and many aunts and uncles.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
