Patrick R. Wilkinson
Patrick R. Wilkinson, age 43, of Hambden Township, died June 12, 2023, at MetroHealth in Cleveland.
Born June 9, 1980, in Columbus, to Michael and Catherine (nee Neal) Wilkinson, he lived in the Columbus area until he came to Chardon.
Patrick was a paver operator for Ronyak Paving with Local #18 Operators Union.
He was very artistic and a true performer as lead vocalist for several bands through the years. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers with his sons and anything BMX. Working out was also a big part of his life.
Patrick was always the first to give a hug and he loved making people laugh. His goofiness and smile were contagious.
Patrick had a huge impact on many people. He continued to do so even after his death. As an organ donor, four people were blessed by his donation. Simply put, Patrick was an awesome father and devoted husband who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sarah (nee Peters) Wilkinson, whom he married April 30, 2011; sons, Evan James and Aiden Matthew; mother, Catherine (nee Neal) Wilkinson; sister, Katie (John) Laird; stepmother, Linda Wilkinson; nieces, Madison, Emma and Avery; and nephews, Colin, Kaleb and Jayce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Wilkinson.
Family will receive friends June 22, 2023, from 3:30-5 p.m., at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon, followed by a funeral service at the church at 5 p.m.
Private family burial will take place at a later date.
