Richard A. Clifton
HARTSGROVE TWP. – Richard A. Clifton, of Hartsgrove Township, died June 6, 2014, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. He was 58.
Born June 20, 1955, in Detroit, Mich., to Vernon and Olga (nee Kovalevich) Clifton, he had been a longtime area resident.
Rick was a prolific musician and loved playing guitar.
He enjoyed golfing, but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn (nee Furtaw), of Hartsgrove; daughters, Gina Clifton, of Bristolville, and Lisa (Brian) Johnson, of Mayfield Heights; grandchildren, Anthony Stango, Stevie Lynn and Troy Harper; mother, Olga Clifton, of Thompson Township; brother, William (Mary) Clifton, of Chardon; sister, Susan (Terry) Zion, of Claridon Township.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. June 11, at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon, with inurnment to follow at All Souls Cemetery.
A gathering will be held from 5-8 p.m. June 10 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
