Rose M. Querry
MIDDLEFIELD – Rose M. Querry, of Middlefield, passed away June 1, 2015, at Briar Hill Care Center in Middlefield Village. She was 87.
Born Aug. 10, 1927, in Germany, to Erhard and Gertrude (nee Wegner) Troschke, she came to the United States in 1948 and had been a longtime area resident.
Her hobbies included growing sunflowers, collecting Lady Bugs and having pizza and beer parties with her friends.
She enjoyed taking pictures of anything, bus trips with her friends, walking and the ocean.
Rose’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Her smile and quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed by her sons, Mark (Vikki) Querry, of Cincinnati, and Dale (Judy Kasicki) Querry, of Mantua; grandchildren, Shannon (Melissa) Todd, of North Carolina, and Brent (Stacey) Todd, of Florida; great-grandchildren, Jenny, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Seth, Olivia and Brynn; sister Johanna Weed, of Connecticut; and previous husband, Walter E. Querry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sue Gosselin; and sister, Katie McSween.
Visitation is 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
