Rosetta M. Sapanaro
Rosetta M. Sapanaro (nee Volino), of Chester Township, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by family on Dec. 19, 2024, ten days after celebrating her 100th birthday on Dec. 9, 2023.
Rosetta was a loving wife to the late Joseph F. Sapanaro; loving mother to Larry (wife Nancy), the late Daniel (wife Lynn), Dennis (wife Adeline) and David.
As a proud aunt, grandmother and grandmother-in-law, she was blessed to be able to send time with her many great-grandchildren.
A 1942 graduate of John Hay High School, she was a housewife, Booster Mom and a Proctor most recently at St. Anselm School.
She enjoyed playing cards with her beloved sisters, reading health and nutrition books, watching Fox News, The Food Channe, and EWTN.
She had great in-laws and many good friends, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anselm Catholic Parish on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. Burial at All Souls Cemetery, in Chardon Township, will follow.
