Sally Ann McGrath Payne
Sally Ann McGrath Payne, 59, died on June 4, 2015, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
The Cleveland native was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, in Munson Township. She moved to Florida in 1979 and worked at Bairds Mobile Home Park as a secretary, before moving to Tampa, Fla., where she worked with SEMCO for over 10 years. She retired to Bulloch County in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Payne; and her parents, James and Mildred McGrath.
Surviving are two sisters, Patricia (Bill) Connolly, of Fruitland Park, Fla., and Beverly Shepherd, of West Farmington; two nieces, Millie Anne Shepherd and Gail Shepherd; her mother-in-law, Ruth Payne, of Sarasota, Fla.; also numerous cousins survive.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel in Leesburg. Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services, P.O. Box 49, Umatilla, FL 32784.
