Terry B. Stamp
Terry B. Stamp died peacefully in Dublin, Ohio, on Sept. 26, 2023, at the age of 81.
Terry is survived by his wife, Katherine M. Stamp; daughters, Tracey Cugini, Tricia Stamp (Chaz), Tanya Stamp (Josh) and Terri “Guppy” Stamp (JC); grandchildren, Lorenzo Cugini (Ally), Angelo Cugini and Drayton Amrose; and sister, Trudy Steuer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Evelyn Stamp.
Terry was born on Oct. 7, 1941, in the state of New York to Bert and Evelyn Stamp. He graduated from Auburn Community College, in 1960, with a degree in business.
He married Katherine M. Ripley in 1962.
Terry began working for Davey Tree Company as a foreman in Pennsylvania and then moved to Ohio, where he started his own tree company, Chagrin Valley Tree Service. Throughout the years, the couple raised four daughters in a fun-loving home where everyone was welcome.
Terry was passionate about sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, and enjoyed playing golf.
He loved spending time with his family, being a Husband, Dad, and Grandfather. He spent most of his time with Kathy and his daughters cheering on sports teams, playing euchre, coaching, celebrating the holidays and traveling.
He also was a dedicated businessman, who took great care of his employees and clients.
The funeral is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2023, at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio. The family will receive guests starting at 10:30 a.m., with the service starting promptly at 11 a.m.
Immediately following the service, there will be light food and beverages.
In lieu of flowers, with Terry’s love of trees, please consider planting a tree in his memory at Arbor Day Foundation.
