April 13th Fundraiser to Support Mission of DDC Clinic – Center for Special Needs Children

DDC Clinic – Center for Special Needs Children invites the community to enjoy a delightful evening in support of a worthy cause when it hosts its 19th annual Patchwork Benefit on Saturday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the clinic’s mission to enhance the quality of life for children with rare genetic disorders.

Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, dinner, as well as a live auction, silent auction and a basket raffle offering such items as a handmade Amish Quilt, Overnight stay at Punderson Manor House, Season Tickets to the Cleveland Browns and The Broadway Series at Playhouse Square Season Tickets. The highlight of the evening will be a special program presented by Dr. Heng Wang, DDC Clinic Medical Director.

Dr. Wang will review the achievements and continued progress of DDC Clinic and will share real-life stories of special needs children and their families who have been helped through the clinic’s efforts. A Dessert Dash and Amish bake sale will round out the evening.

“The Patchwork Benefit is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year” said Blake Andres, Executive Director of DDC Clinic. “Eighty percent of our operating budget is raised through philanthropy. The continued generosity of our donors enables us to conduct genetic research and testing, make new discoveries, and provide the life-changing diagnoses and treatments that significantly impact the lives of special children.”

Tickets for DDC Clinic’s Patchwork Benefit ($175 per couple; $90 per individual) can be purchased at www.ddcclinic.org or by telephone at 440-632-1668. Corporate sponsorship packages are also available at various levels ranging from $250 to $5,000. The deadline to purchase tickets or sponsorships is March 22. The Patchwork Benefit will be held at the Federated Church Family Life Center at 16349 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township.
