CFIS Tigers of the Month

The Chagrin Falls Intermediate School Tigers of the Month are for students who show consistent behaviors. This doesn’t mean the student has to be the best behaved or have the highest grades. This award is for the student who continually tries to do their best. They may make mistakes but are approaching their school experience with a “yet” mindset. This month, teachers have recognized students that demonstrate “cooperation” in a variety of ways.

Tigers of the Month for October are Jack Thompson, Matilda Bolling, Jack Patricoff, Olivia Kumis, Chloe Ceska, Archer Osborn, Anna Pelsozy, Jackson Ponikvar, Leighton Putt, Oliver Gambrill, Charlotte Franz, Liam Dixon, Averie Stuart, Jade Borger, Leona Bright, Hadley Reed, Quintessence Hui, Amelia Edgerly and Graham Linzcak.

Excellence in Financial Reporting

Chagrin Falls Schools has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022.

The report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
