In-Person Learning Resumed
After a “pandemic pause” that began on Dec. 7, 94 percent of NDCL’s 705 students returned to in-person learning on Jan. 11.
From Dec. 7-18 and Jan. 5-8, all classes met online through Blackboard and Zoom as a precaution against potential exposure to COVID-19 during the holiday season.
“Our faculty and staff are really excited about our students’ return to campus,” explained Principal Joseph A. Waler. “While live-streamed learning keeps students on track and helps us stay connected with them, it is no substitute for being on campus. Whenever possible, students really need to be here to get the full high school experience.”
