NDCL Athletics Signing Day

Eleven student-athletes declared their collegiate athletic intentions during a spirited signing ceremony attended by many relatives, coaches, teachers and teammates in NDCL’s O’Brien Center the morning of Feb. 2.
The seniors are: Alana Bartulovic, Wittenberg University, volleyball; Paige Bosworth, Edinboro University, lacrosse; Francesca Carlo, Purdue Fort Wayne University, track and field; Madi Dutton, Florida Tech University, softball; Kyle Hanzak, Walsh University, bowling; Olivia Jurcevic, Otterbein University, volleyball; Ryan Niksa, Hillsdale College, football; Sam Slodic, University of Charleston WV, baseball; Robby Smith, Capital University, lacrosse; Jeanna Sukey, Slippery Rock University, softball; and Eva Wheeler, Georgia State University, volleyball.

Weather Forecasting

During a week when every NDCL student was focused on the weather in hopes of a snow day and others were looking to Punxsutawney Phil on Groundhog Day for signs of an early spring, students in science teacher Elizabeth Ford’s environmental science class used their learning about weather as well as their media expertise to produce meteorological broadcasts in NDCL’s TV studio in the Sisters of Notre Dame Learning Commons.
