Sophia Lee is the NDES Spelling Bee winner and Mary Lucy Currier, the runner-up. The school is proud of all the participants.
Sophia will go on to represent NDES at The Geauga County Spelling Bee on Feb. 7.
Sharing Love of Music
Sr. Susan Clark, SND, has been sharing her love and passion for music with piano students at NDES. Prior to Christmas break, her students performed at a recital, showcasing what they have learned with sounds of the season. The school is blessed to have Sr. Susan working with our students.
Preschool Spotlight
Notre Dame Elementary has adopted a new school-wide program, The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, to supplement the Christ Our Life series written by the Sisters of Notre Dame. Students at the preschool are benefitting from the hands-on practical approach to learning about who Jesus is. They are hearing scripture straight from the Bible and participating in lessons with their teachers and Good Shepherd instructors.
