St. Valentine’s Day Celebrations
On Feb. 14, students across NDES enjoyed parties and fun in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Thank you to the many parent volunteers who helped to make the day so special for the students.
Kindergarten Preview Day
Notre Dame Elementary School will hold Kindergarten Preview Day on March 2 from 10 a.m. to noon. Join to take a sneak peak in to the magical world of kindergarten. STEM – Social Studies Collaboration
Under the guidance of Mrs. Gardner and Mrs. Davis, first-grade students in both classes are studying neighborhoods and communities and how they can be represented by maps and models. Students are in the process of creating their own homes and additional buildings with the aide of the school’s laser cutter obtained through the generosity of the McGinty Family Foundation. The collaboration demonstrates how technology can make the project easier by creating nets for the students to use as buildings.
