Mission Drive 2021

NDES generosity knows no bounds. Notre Dame students and families truly outdid themselves in the annual October Mission Drive. Anchored in faith and living the message of Jesus to share with the poor was really lived out.

Together as a team, NDES raised $2,013 to support ND Global Missions and the Missions of the Diocese of Cleveland. The poor children and orphans cannot thank the community enough for meeting their many needs for food, shoes and schoolbooks. They wrote to the school expressing that they remember all of their donors in their prayers every day.

Read to the Principal

Mrs. Montague loves to reward great behavior in second grade. After students color 11 “highlights” on their punch card, they get to pick out of her treasure chest. When they complete their whole punch card, which contains 22 “highlights,” the children choose from a variety of prize passes, such as “eat lunch with the teacher,” “write in gel pen for the day,” “choose the music for a movement break” or “read a book to the principal.” The students are delighted with the option that they can read to the principal.
