The Saints Go Marching In
The saints went marching in at the entrance procession during the St. Helen School mass on the feast of All Saints, Nov. 1. Second-graders in Mrs. Bartholomew’s class picked their favorite saint to research and then dress as that saint to process into church. Some of the saints chosen included St. Michael the Archangel, St. Joan of Arc, St. Helen, St. Patrick and the Blessed Mother.
The students learned how important it is to live holy moments like each saint so they can live in heaven with Jesus. The feast of All Saints is a special day to remember all the saints and ask for their intercession to live holy moments.
