St. Helen students joyfully prepared for baby Jesus’ birth with several activities this advent. Each morning the students gathered to pray and light a candle on the advent log. The students had daily advent challenges to help prepare their hearts for Christmas, including praying for each other, doing extra chores at home and spending extra time on their schoolwork. The students also earned money at home for those in need in the community. The money collected was given to Catholic Charities of Geauga County.
