The West Geauga High School Marching Band teamed up with the Chesterland Police Department, Kiwanis Club of West Geauga and the Chesterland Lions Club for Operation Santa Sleigh.

Holiday Parade

The West Geauga High School Marching Band teamed up with the Chesterland Police Department, Kiwanis Club of West Geauga and the Chesterland Lions Club for Operation Santa Sleigh. Members of the band, led by directors Jason Branch and Taylor DeSapri, followed several squad cars from the police headquarters in a parade to the West Geauga Senior Citizen Center. At the end of the procession was a sleigh with Santa waving to community members. The toy drive filled an entire truck with presents for families for the holiday season.

Donuts at Dawn

On Dec. 12, Lindsey Elementary School sponsored Donuts at Dawn. Students and parents met with Principal Meagan Bellan, teachers and staff members before school for some social time on a cold winter day. The annual event is much anticipated by all.

Longtime WG Secretary Retires

Laura Palmer, the secretary of Lindsey Elementary School, has decided to retire. Just over 25 years ago Mrs. Palmer began her career with the West Geauga Local Schools and now she has decided to move on to activities with her family, friends and grandchildren. The West G family will miss her greatly and wishes her well in her retirement.
