Representatives from University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center visited the West Geauga campus to discuss safety protocols and offer advice. Director of Operations Sean Whelan has worked with the staff to develop a safe environment for students and faculty. University Hospitals and West Geauga Local Schools have a partnership that includes a trainer for athletic programs.
Conquer Your Locker
Sixth-graders new to West Geauga Middle School participated in the annual Conquer Your Locker activities. This year looked much different than past years. Parents and students assembled in the cafeteria and were seated at desks placed at a safe social distance. Principal Ron Dahlhofer gave a presentation to participants. Students were able to demonstrate their ability to open a locker using a combination lock.
