State Testing Begins
The West Geauga Local Schools began the annual state testing the week of April 12. The Lindsey PTO decorated the school to motivate the students to do their best work during the important assessments.
Students in grades 3-8 take tests in mathematics and English/language arts. Fifth- and eighth-grade students also take the science test. High school students take a variety of graduation required exit exams for their courses.
Teachers have prepared students throughout the pandemic using creative and innovative teaching strategies. The district will receive the results of the testing over the summer.
