Operation Santa’s Sleigh
The West Geauga Local School District Transportation Department, along with Westwood Elementary staff and with a generous donation of $500 by OAPSE Local 255, collected and purchased toys for Operation Santa’s Sleigh. Operation Santa’s Sleigh is a program sponsored by the Chesterland Police Department that distributes toys to the needy in Geauga County.
Students in the high school art class painted the outside of Santa’s sleigh and the West Geauga band led by Jason Branch played throughout the event. A special singing performance by Class Act enchanted the crowd.
