ANIMAL PROBLEM
Jan. 17
1:09 p.m., Mentor Road, Chardon. Bulls are loose going toward the roadway. Homeowner is not home.
CITIZEN ASSIST
Jan. 19
12:39 p.m., Madison Road, Middlefield. Caller is looking for advice on issues with a tenant smoking weed in their unit. Caller has zero-tolerance rule in each lease. Caller will post reminder on each unit to gain compliance. Caller will contact law enforcement versus landlord next time suspected marijuana smoke/odor is detected. Nothing occurring currently.
CITIZEN DISPUTE
Jan. 14
8:27 a.m., Newcomb Road, Middlefield. Male customer who has sexually harassed employees in the past is at the premise now. Caller states about 6- months ago male was asked never to return after grabbing female employees. Male is inside and caller is outside. Complainant requested male be charged with trespassing if he returns.
FRAUD
Jan. 14
6:28 p.m., Farmington Road, Parkman. Caller let someone connect to her computer; she believes she has been scammed. The computer will not respond and she cannot shut if off. All her info is stored on the computer. Deputy met with complainant who advised an ad for Windows Defender came up and she called the number to sintexipsolutioms.com and spoke to a male. She allowed the male access to her computer and figured it was a scam but could not stop the male and now her computer is not responding. Deputy was able to restart the computer and found it was not accessible. Complainant told to contact her bank, credit card and keep an eye on her credit report. Report number provided.
Jan. 16
8:39 p.m., Merritt Road, Munson. ICE inmate wants to make a report for identity theft. Inmate was reporting his brother-in-law is working with an unknown person at the BMV in Akron to steal identities. Deputy explained to the inmate what he was reporting needed to be reported to either Akron PD or Summit County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy advised inmate he would let corrections sergeant know.
HARASSMENT
Jan. 16
3:02 p.m., Greystone Drive, Troy. Female in the lobby is receiving harassing text messages from a male she knew 20 years ago. Male from high school who caller has not seen in 20 years sent a long text message to her phone on Christmas day along with some high school photos. Report taken.
JUVENILE PROBLEM
Jan. 14
3:12 p.m., Bass Lake Road, Munson. Teenage son is pushing mom and siblings’ buttons. He is pretending to flick her off with another finger. She will not tolerate disrespect and he uses false bad words. Parents are getting divorced and have a difference in opinion as far as discipline, which is causing issues in the home. Mom may leave for a couple of days with daughter. Advice given.
SUSPICIOUS
Jan. 15
11:26 p.m., Beechwood Drive, Newbury. Caller advised he has a bunch of idiots in his house he wants removed. He doesn’t know how many people or their names. Caller says they are friends of his brothers and he is in the hospital. Deputy advised. Nothing heard in the background. Deputies arrived and nobody knew why we were called.

5:18 a.m., West Center Street, Burton. Black Honda westbound. Subjects wearing a black mask. Trying to get in vehicles at Preston’s. Caller is a parts manager.
THEFT
Jan. 14
12:57 p.m., Plank Road, Montville. Reporting a 2013 20-foot enclosed trailer stolen sometime in the last week. Employee of storage unit tried to sell caller a stolen trailer. Caller already has paid the male $1,200. Made contact with business owner and he said the trailer is not employee’s to sell. Caller will be en route to GCSO.
1:34 p.m., Plank Road, Montville. Deputy advising of another theft of trailer in progress. Subject cited for trespassing. Report to follow.
THEATENING
Jan. 17
5:51 p.m., Washington Street, Auburn. Former tenant threatened to shoot me in the face. Not in progress. Past tenant calling caller’s office and threatening him.
