CITIZEN ASSIST
Nov. 28
11:37 a.m., Rock Creek Road, Thompson. Cat stuck in pine trees, howling. Ladder against the tree where the cat is stuck. Cat rescued from tree.
DISORDERLY
Nov. 26
10 p.m., Claridon Troy Road, Troy. In parking lot of Dollar General, two fighting. Female arrested for DV and DOC, report to follow.
EXTRA PATROL
Nov. 27
7:11 p.m., High Street, Parkman. Deputy requests extra patrol for this residence. Teenage female believes a male is following her. Male is tall, heavy, long hair and a bard. Operates a white van or dark sedan.
FOUND PROPERTY
Nov. 25
5:43 p.m., Chardon Windsor Road, Hambden. Caller found two crates of carpentry tools on Chardon Windsor while on his way home. Officer advised. Caller found power tools on side of road on Chardon Windsor Road between SR 528 and SR 534. Caller gave permission that if someone called in looking for power tools to pass on his contact information. Red dolly, Milwaukee crates and Milwaukee power tools.
Dec. 1
10:53 a.m., Claridon Troy Road, Troy. Store manager thought a GCSO taser was left in the store. Item identified as a scan gun for an unknown vendor. Manager advised he would hold on to the item and attempt to figure out which of his vendors owns it.
HARASSMENT
Nov. 26
2:11 a.m., Bass Lake Road, Munson. Harassment complaint against ex-boyfriend. He has called my phone over 50 times and texting as well. He recently poured bleach on my clothing and made comments against children. No PO. Currently lives in South Euclid and so does male. Male is in nursing station area. When deputies arrived to speak with caller it was learned male entered the locked building. He was located and was advised to leave and that management does not want him back on property. He was advised of being arrested for criminal trespass if found on property again.
SUSPICIOUS
Nov. 25
2:28 p.m., Rock Creek Road, Thompson. Caller said her son just told her he thought he saw the male at another lot videotaping him and three other children. Caller reported male was recording the kids riding their bikes. Officer spoke with male who advised he was accused of swerving at the children last week and now is recording when he drives near them so he is not falsely accused of anything.
Nov. 26
12:18 p.m., Legend Creek Drive, Munson. Caller found a heart at the bottom of a mulch pile. Heart appears to be from an animal and most likely was buried in the mulch pile by another animal. Property owner was going to dispose of it.
Nov. 27
6:17 p.m., High Street, Parkman. Caller states his 14-year-old sister was almost kidnapped in seventh grade. Now the family believes someone is coming into the home at night. Caller is calling for his parents. Female believes she saw a male that followed her several years ago. Was unable to describe the person from the previous night but stated the male was tall, heavy, long hair and had a beard. Stated the male operated a white van or a dark car. Advised to contact GCSO when person or vehicle is seen. They also were advised of other measures to secure/monitor home. Extra patrol requested.
THEFT
Nov. 29
5:04 p.m., Mayfield Road, Huntsburg. Chest full of silver and gold, and other belongings were stolen by caller’s son. About $6,000 worth. Son admitted to father he took the items to a pawn shop. Caller would like a phone call first for advice on what to do. Son admitted to taking the items and then selling them to Chagrin gold and coin, and another unknown pawn shop. Advice given about criminal charges, which caller was hesitant about. Advice also given regarding attempting to purchase items back and have son pay back. Caller stated son agreed to pay him back for items taken, but caller unsure if he will. Caller advised to contact GCSO by end of week if he would like to move forward with criminal charges.
WEAPON OFFENSE
Nov. 25
11:40 a.m., Stoney Springs Drive, Claridon. Woman saw a stray bullet come through her screen porch. Found the bullet inside of her home. Bullet came from the back of her house on Aldenshire Drive.
WELFARE CHECK
Nov. 27
7:06 p.m., Merritt Road, Munson. Caller states he got a phone call from male stating his brother are trying to kill him. He posted a photo outside the buggy window that stated “Help.” Caller believes he is in Middlefield somewhere on back roads. This is all from Snapchat. Caller lives in Pennsylvania and believes male is in his teens. Belmont Sheriff’s Office will contact complainant.
