Maple Leaf Track Club
The Maple Leaf Track Club is hosting a Summer Track Clinic for kids ages 5 to 13 June 10 to July 10 at the Chardon High School track.
The $100 registration fee includes a T-shirt, competition singlet and entry fees to dual meets. Other meets could include optional fees.
June 11, 18, 25 and July 2 are Wednesday night all-comers track meets at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 per event or $10 for unlimited entries.

Cleveland Indians Summer Camps Coming to Burton
Indians Summer Camps will host a five-day session at Berkshire High School Aug. 4-8.
The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and is a perfect way for children ages 6-14 to develop their baseball skills and have fun this summer.
Registration is $199 per camper, and all campers will also receive a free Indians Replica Jersey, adjustable hat, and two tickets to see the Indians play on August 23 as part of Cleveland Indians Youth Baseball Day.

Tigers to Continue Playing Careers
Three Chagrin Falls Tigers football players have decided to continue their football careers.
Matt Iammarino will attend Denison University, joining his brother Tommy. Matt, and the other seniors, went 33-6 with three CVC championships, three state playoff appearances and one Final Four appearance. Matt was a two time 1st Team All-Ohio receiver.
He holds of the Chagrin Falls receiving record, with 126 catches for 2,206 yards.
Michael Munday will attend Johns Hopkins University, joining his brother Bradley. Michael had 757 yards of total offense as a running back and was a first-team CVC defensive back.
Alex Goebel will attend the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He led the team in tackles for loss (8) and QB sacks with 5.5. He also started on the offensive line.
All three were chosen as Academic All-Ohio athletes.
