Auburn Career Center is partnering with Geauga County Ohio Means Jobs for the career center’s first reverse job fair May 4 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Auburn Career Center, 8140 Auburn Road, Concord Township.
Graduating seniors in Auburn Career Center’s training programs will be available to speak with employers about their skills and job availability. The students will also have resumes available and project samples for employers to view. Employers are invited to attend the event and speak with the students and can bring job applications.
Graduating seniors from Auburn are OSHA certified, trained with over 950 hours of coursework, have earned college credit and workplace credentials and are ready for the workplace.
Students will be available from the following programs and industries: Advanced Manufacturing; Automotive; Emergency Medical Service; Patient Care Technician; Sports Medicine; Culinary, Landscape Horticulture; Cosmetology; Electrical; Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning; Computer Networking; Internet Programming and Development; Information Support Services; Interactive Multimedia; Construction; Architecture Project Management; Maintenance and Environmental Services; Business and Teaching Professions Pathway.

Auburn Spring Plant Sale
Auburn Career Center’s Landscape Horticulture spring plant sale begins May 1 at 10985 Girdled Road, right behind the high school. Sale hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 12-2 p.m. A wide variety of plants and Proven Winners hanging baskets will be available. Cash and checks are accepted.
