Middle Schoolers Visit CELC

Chardon Early Learning Center recently welcomed seventh-grade students from Chardon Middle School’s Sources of Strength program. The students visited the Tiny Toppers, demonstrating generosity in action.

The seventh-graders brought favorite books, planned activities and spent time connecting with the younger students. The visit gave early learners the chance to interact with positive role models from the middle school.

Students Perform in Honors Band

Several seventh-grade musicians Adelynne Baird, Jon Corbett, Wesley Harbert and Vivian Cresho represented Chardon Middle School at the Ohio Music Educators District 7 Honors Band performance, held recently at Mentor Auditorium.

The ensemble, directed by Josh Van Gorder, brought together approximately 100 seventh- through ninth-grade musicians from area schools. Students took part in intensive rehearsals before performing a concert for family and friends. The experience gave students the chance to grow as musicians and represent Chardon in the region.
