Mrs. Bartholomew’s second-graders prepared to make their First Holy Communion by baking bread on March 23. The students, with the help of a parent or grandparent, made the dough from scratch. They mixed it, kneaded it, let it rise and baked it. During the process, the children are reminded of the love Jesus has for us.
