Key Club Donates To WomenSafe
Members of the CHS Key Club recently gave a $100 donation to WomenSafe. Students raised the money with a candy gram sale in February and then voted to donating the proceeds to WomenSafe. Ms. Fisher also spent time talking to Key Club members about the services WomenSafe provides and how volunteers can help. Key Club members are proud to partner with the East Geauga Kiwanis Club for various service projects in the community and are always looking for new opportunities to give back.
Mini Tech Conference
The district’s second mini tech conference for its teachers was a big success. Teachers were able to attend five different sessions to discover more ways to incorporate technology into their daily classroom lessons, assessments and assignments.
Several Cardinal teachers and representatives from Apple, ITSCO, LGCA, Hiram College and Notre Dame presented. There was much useful information that the teachers are looking forward to incorporating.
