It’s back to work, prayer and play at St. Helen Elementary School. With the new school year underway and the first week jitters behind them, students are getting back into the groove.
Morning Exercise
Students have started weekly morning exercise to get moving and start their day off right. Every Tuesday morning with the help of parents and some junior high leaders, students are encouraged to get up and get active to prepare them for the school day ahead.
Generous Grant Received
The school year is off to an exciting start thanks to a generous grant donation from the Ohio Catholic Credit Union. St Helen School was one of only two schools in the Diocese of Cleveland to receive a $10,000 grant to help improve technology in the school.
St Helen School was honored to receive such an amazing gift. Just when the school thought it couldn’t get any better, St. Helen was told that the other school to receive the second grant was its sister school, St Francis Catholic School in Cleveland. Two wonderful gifts were received for two wonderful communities.
