Congratulations to Park and Munson school staff for being recognized with 2018 PBIS Bronze Awards by the Ohio PBIS Network for their work with students at Maple, Park and Munson elementary schools during the 2017-18 school year.
Positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to encourage good behavior. With PBIS, kids learn about behavior, just as they learn other subjects like math or science. The key to PBIS is prevention, not punishment. The district is proud of its staff members who are continually working toward creating a positive school culture and climate that benefits the entire school community.
Concession Volunteers Needed
The concession stands at Chardon High School sporting events are run by volunteers. All the concession funds go back to the students. Proceeds go towards providing a safe, secure and fun after prom experience.
Please consider donating some time. Volunteers have fun. Please also consider making purchases from the stands as well.
There are plenty of great refreshments.
Student Global Leadership Summit
Chardon High School still has spots open to join an amazing collaborative learning adventure to London and Switzerland in July 2019. The 2019 Student Global Leadership Summit is an opportunity to interact with students from all over globe to discuss relevant topics with the world´s top thinkers and innovators.

Park School Orientation
Park Parent Orientation Night is Sept. 6. Orientation will focus on teacher classroom routines, expectations and yearly curriculum overview. Classroom presentation for grades K-1 will be at 6:30 p.m. Classroom presentation for grades 2-3 will be held at 7:35 p.m.
Munson Parent Open House
Munson Back-to-School Open House is set for Sept. 6. Grades K-1 will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and grades 2-3 will meet from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
