Letter P Literacy

Preschool students in the pre-K 2 class focused on the letter P last week at school. They were busy making pasta and penguin patterns, observing pumpkins, running a pumpkin patch and writing thank-you notes to community firefighters.

Words to Live By

Sixth-grade students read the book, “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio. The theme of the book is about friendship and being kind to one another. The students were then challenged with the question: How to make the world a better place? Their final project was “Wonder” Windows, where the students built a 24×36-inch LED “stained glass” wall hanging to be put up for the school to see. It will serve as a reminder of the words one needs to live by.
