CFIS Construction Project Continues to Win Awards

Chagrin Falls Intermediate School has been selected as one of the “Engineering News Record” (ENR) Midwest best projects. The project received an award of merit in the K-12 category. In November, ENR will run an in-depth feature on each of the winning projects. Gilbane Building Company was the construction manager and Stantec Architecture was the architect.

So far to date, Chagrin Falls Intermediate School has won three awards: Building Excellence Award from Construction Employers Association (CEA), Award of Excellence from Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) and now a Best Projects for Engineering News Record (ENR) Midwest.

“This recognition is due to the hard work and attention to detail delivered by our construction team,” said Superintendent Robert Hunt. “The building transformed the educational space for our staff and students while retaining and recognizing the historical significance of the site. This was all made possible by a community that supports their local school district.”
