Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, half price and bag day.

Geauga Dems Collect Signatures
April 27-30
The Geauga Democratic Party will collect signatures on the petition for the right for reproductive freedom at the Geauga County Maple Festival in Chardon. Stop by the table in front of the library at 110 E. Park St. and support reproductive care for women. Or stop by the party headquarters at 12420 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. or on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sign.
Free Community Dinner
April 28, 5-6:30 p.m.
Mayfield United Methodist Church is hosting a taco dinner at the church located at 7747 Mayfield Road in Chester Township. Carryout is available.
AYCE Pancake Breakfast
April 29 and 30, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pilgrim Christian Church will host an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast at the church located at 202 S. Hambden St. in Chardon.
Cost is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $5 for children. Children under 5 eat for free.
History of Arborwear
May 3, 7-8:30
The Bainbridge Civic Club presents “A Local History: Arborwear and the Schenck Building Renovation” at Arborwear headquarters, 16490 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township. Bill Weber, team captain at Arborwear, will discuss the conversion of the previous Schenck manufacturing site, share a history of Arborwear’s success as a local business and lead a tour of the facility.
The event is free and open to the public. Beer and snacks provided free of charge, courtesy of the Bainbridge Civic Club.

Spring Drive-It-Yourself Tour
May 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join Destination Geauga’s 19th annual self-guided tour of Geauga County businesses. Each stop offers either a discount, giveaway or sample to enjoy. Pick up a map of participating businesses and collect a stamp at each stop.
At the end of the tour, head to Century Village’s Bond building in Burton for the finale with music, food and a chance to win prizes from local businesses. Those who have visited 10 or more participating businesses will be entered to win the grand prize. Drawings begin at 4 p.m.

Perennial Gardeners Plant Sale
May 13, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Perennial Gardeners of Chesterland’s annual plant sale in the parking lot of Chester Town Hall, 12701 Chillicothe Road, features a large assortment of hanging baskets, perennials, natives, houseplants and annuals. Sale will be held rain or shine.
Check out the Garden Shed and boutique for unique home and garden items. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted. Plant sale gift cards for are currently available; call Linda at 440-338-8644.
