St. Mary Parish in Chardon is hosting a Eucharistic procession through Chardon Square on Sept. 9 after the 4:30 p.m. Mass.
Father Scott Goodfellow, pastor of St. Mary Chardon, comments, “As Catholics, we believe that Jesus Christ is substantially present in the Holy Eucharist. A public Eucharistic procession by the priest and the people of the parish invites the whole community to encounter the risen Lord present among us. We invite you to join us for Mass and the procession, and to pause to pray with us if you walk or drive past us on Saturday. After the procession, we will have time for adoration and prayer back at the church. May God bless you now and always.”
