Residents wishing to have their homes visited are asked to leave a porch or outside light on. Children are asked to stop only at homes with lights on.
- Burton Village: Oct. 31, 6-7:30 p.m.
- Trick or Treating at Century Village Museum: Oct 31, 6-8 p.m. Geauga County Historical Society in collaboration with Burton Chamber of Commerce will hold the trick or treat event at the Bond Building. Event included free hot dogs, apple cider, costume contest and DJ.
- Chagrin Falls: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
- Chardon VFW Post 6519: Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a breakfast buffet at 9 a.m. and a costume contest for kids and adults.
- Chardon: Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Then, from 7:30-8 p.m., Chardon Square Association hosts Halloween on the Square and will hand out bags of candy at the bandstand. The Chardon Police Department will hand out cider and doughnuts and the Chardon Fire Department will lead a parade around the square.
- Chester Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
- Hiram: Oct. 29, 5-7 p.m. Inn at the Pines Assisted Living and Memory Care, 18122 Claridon Troy Road is hosting Trunk or Treat. There will be contests for best costume and scariest scream.
- Huntsburg Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
- Middlefield Village: Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Middlefield Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual cider, doughnuts and costume contest just after 7 p.m. at the Middlefield Fire Station.
- Munson Township: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
Halloween drive-thru at the Munson Fire Station: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
- Parkman: Oct. 26: 6-7:30 p.m. at Parkman Community House. Bring the kids for trick-or-treating, games and dancing to Halloween music. Volunteers and supporters are welcome; contact Denise Villers for more information or to register email Parkman.F.O@gmail.com.
- South Russell Village: Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.
- Thompson Township: Oct. 28, 6-8 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Hemly Tool Supply, 16600 Thompson Road. Dress up and bring bags and buckets to collect treats. Thompson Library Branch will also be hosting a Halloween party with crafts and candy.
