Generation Junction Day brought excitement and energy to the Chardon Senior Center May 8 as second-graders from Berkshire Elementary spent the day learning, laughing and connecting with local seniors.

Generation Junction Day brought excitement and energy to the Chardon Senior Center May 8 as second-graders from Berkshire Elementary spent the day learning, laughing and connecting with local seniors. More than 50 students, accompanied by teachers, volunteer parents and Berkshire Elementary School Principal Heather Giel, arrived at the center shortly before 9 a.m. and participated in activities through 1:30 p.m., said William Phillips, community outreach and marketing coordinator with the Geauga County Department on Aging, in a press release.
