The First Congregational Church of Claridon recently awarded academic scholarships to six students. The recipients represent three area high schools and one Ohio college. Scholarship criteria included church, community and school involvement; work and volunteer experience; financial need; and future goals. The students will attend colleges and universities in Ohio and Pennsylvania this fall.
