Seniors Build Towers
The Marshmallow Challenge-winning team of Chardon High School seniors Aiden and Danek built the tallest freestanding structure of uncooked pasta and marshmallows.
The activity is one of the weekly soft-skills challenges students take on in the Senior Writing for Careers class, taught by Lynn Monaco and Melissa Pokorny.
The soft-skills challenges showcase students’ abilities to work well with others, communicate clearly and efficiently, think creatively and critically and apply English language arts skills to complex scenarios.
