Citizen Assist
Feb. 25
2:39 p.m., Thorpe Road, Auburn. Someone used callers ID for a timeshare, $12,993. Report taken.
3:41 p.m., Kinsman Road, Newbury. Male in lobby of post to report he has located his stolen bow, case and accessories at Geauga Pawn. Deputy advised. Advice given on how to recover the bow.
Juvenile Problem
Feb. 26
8:29 a.m., Claridon Troy Road, Troy. Eleven-year-old daughter is refusing to go to school. She also has a meeting today in court. She is just crying and refusing to go, but she has to be in school. She went.
Suspicious
Feb. 22
3:18 p.m., Sunset Drive, Auburn. Orange Jeep with black Jeep, keeps parking on callers street. Male has urinated on the street and caller believes they are having sex because she sees the females bare legs on the dashboard. Appears to be the same two people. Vehicle is there after school once a week. Vehicle has just left. Checked area; UTL on vehicle. Caller requests extra patrol in the area after school days.
Feb. 23
7:31 p.m., Mayfield Road, Huntsburg. Three males were out hunting earlier today and had wandered off their property onto neighbors. The neighbor then asked them for their guns for being on his property and now they are wondering how to get them back. They spoke with a neighbor who told them to call the sheriffs office. Deputy advised. Report taken.
Feb. 26
9:27 p.m., Dewey Road, Thompson. Found out their 12-year-old daughter is sexting with a 17-year-old boy. They would like to speak with someone about how to handle. Juvenile female transported to UH. Report to follow.
Threatening
Feb. 28
4:32 p.m., Leggett Road, Montville. Would like to see an officer regarding some threatening comments and statements a male student from Ledgemont is making on Facebook. He is an acquaintance of callers daughter.
Vandalism
Feb. 25
1:37 p.m., Mitchells Mill Road, Chardon. Two-wheel dolly pushed through his window. Subjects have been friends since they were 15 years old. One subject recently returned from Florida and found out other subject is dating his old girlfriend from four years ago. Caller believes he returned a two-wheel dolly and threw it through garage window. Does not want charges filed, just wants him warned. Deputy phoned first subject and left message.
