The following is a sampling of the calls handled by the Geauga County Sheriffs Office Feb. 1-7. In total, the sheriffs office handled 377 calls during this seven-day period.

Agency Assist

Feb. 5

8:53 a.m., Bainbridge Road, Bainbridge. Search at high school. Drug search of Kenston High School. One alert on vehicle in student lot.

Feb. 7

5:15 a.m., Chillicothe Road, Chester. En route to West Geauga High School. K-9 was at the school if anything was found. The building was checked. UTL.

Citizen assist

Feb. 7

3:10 p.m., Broadwood Drive, Burton. Elderly female would like someone to come over and help her get her Listerine bottle open. Assisted.

Citizen Dispute

Feb. 3

2:06 p.m., Sperry Rod, Newbury. Neighbor plowed his snow into our front yard.

Disorderly

Feb. 1

10:47 p.m., Washington Street, Auburn. Deputy in need of assistance. Thirty disorderly subjects on scene who have been ejected. Bainbridge PD assisting. Referee stopped game several times for Solon HS students being disorderly. Referee ejected student section and they became irate, pounding on the glass. Students were escorted to the lobby. Students that threatened referees were escorted from the building. No property damage reported.

Domestic Dispute

Feb. 6

1:52 p.m., S. Brown Road, Hambden. Aunt is threatening caller for his life. She came after him several times. She put her hands on him. She pushed her way into his room and he pushed her out. Grandfather is now coming after him saying he is going to jail. Aunt is freaking out because they say he touches everything in the house. He took his cousins xBox to play in his own room. Verbal only; no threats of violence nor acts of violence. All parties in involved were talked to about their behavior toward each other and they are going their separate ways.

Domestic Violence

Feb. 1

9:41 p.m., Dawson Drive, Auburn. Caller advised her husband and children were in the detached garage. The father got upset with the children over a hockey game, tripped the young child and made him fall. Husband is highly intoxicated; has been drinking 12:30 p.m. this afternoon. There were two children involved; father was yelling and screaming at the children, calling them names. Then the father tripped the son who fell on his back and bit his tongue. Rescue denied. Caller is afraid of the male, especially when he drinks and doesnt want him coming in the house. Caller is in the house in kitchen.

Theft

Feb. 2

10:11 a.m., Kinsman Road, Newbury. Sold a car and the guy has not finished payments, moved to Florida and pulled out the GPS. Civil. Owner failed to make payments.

Feb. 7

3:33 p.m., Kevin Lane, Hambden. Need a report. Someone stole my steps to the back door. Male just wanted it documented that he noticed his aluminum steps missing. He has no idea who took them or when it happened.

Threatening

Feb. 1

8:13 a.m., Rock Creek Road, Thompson. Car in the drive. Stated his teenager was threatened on the Internet, physically and sexually. Subject is the one that was threatening. Report taken.

Feb. 4

5:46 p.m., Rock Creek Road, Thompson. Male states his teenage daughter is being threatened by a male over the Internet. Complainant would like to speak to an officer.
