Citizen Dispute
March 20
5:50 p.m., Woodbury Drive, Newbury. Caller states he has been having an ongoing problem with his neighbor and her children. Caller states the female neighbor has been having her children beat up his children. All parties were spoken with and advised.
Drugs/Alcohol
March 21
2:01 p.m., Horseshoe Drive, Auburn. Husband thinks his wife and her friends have been doing drugs, prescription pills. Male thinks there are drugs in the house. Report taken.
Fraud
March 16
11:34 a.m., Chardon Road, Chardon. Good customer came in with a $5 bill that appears to be fake. He got it at Walmart. Caller will keep the bill and get his information. Received the bill from an elderly male customer. It was discovered it was fake so he gave them a new $5. The store turned the fake bill over and is not out any money. Elderly male is unaware of where he received the bill. Bill will be entered into evidence.
Shooting
March 21
12:22 a.m., Foxhaven Drive, Chester. Late 40s male put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. Caller was with him in the basement and he was showing him his new weapons. Possibly a .44 magnum to the head. Caller said there is no need to do CPR. The victim had 3-4 beers. Victim is in the basement and there is no one down there. Caller said he wasnt sure why he put the gun to his head. Going to coroners office in Cuyahoga.
Suspicious
March 15
8:27 a.m., Old State Road, Middlefield. Someone tried to break in around 3 a.m. this morning. Alarms chased them away. Deputy was advised. Owner advised suspect did not get in. Would like extra patrol.
4:07 p.m., Linda Drive, Newbury. Male in lobby requesting to speak to deputy. No further on what occurred other than incidents have happened on many occasions. Deputy advised. Male advised his teenage daughter is pregnant with 38-year olds child. Case is not a sex crime. Advice given to file contributing to delinquency of a minor charges. Refused at this time.
Threatening
March 17
7:17 p.m., Chardon Windsor Road, Claridon. Estranged husband called screaming at me in reference to something one of our children told him. He stated, I am going to come at you hard and heavy and also made threats to harm a friend of mine. He is expected at the house around 8 p.m. to drop off our children. No current protection order in place; it has been vacated. One arrested.
