Fourth-graders from Notre Dame Elementary School’s Challenge program are working intently on the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s Mountain Bike Trail Contest.
Students analyze real world application problems while learning how to scale from measurement to create a bike trail with shapes and angles from the world of mathematics.
They are able to learn the enjoyment of measurement and geometry in the art of design.
