Morgan Conservatory Field Trip
Third-grade students recently took a tour of the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland. The trip began with a tour of the factory where the students viewed many different paper presses and learned about different types of natural and organic material that make paper.
The students rotated between three stations. The first station was book binding, where the kids assembled and sewed together a book. The second station was a marbling table, where students got to use various colors to drip into a water-based solution that they would swirl to make colorful designs onto paper. The last station was paper making using cotton based pulp and screens.
