Outstanding Athletes Honored

Dakota Ward received the Johnny Smallwood Award for 2014. Johnny Smallwood was a Cardinal student killed in a hunting accident.

The John Smallwood Memorial Award is awarded to the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete each year and is the highest honor given to a Cardinal athlete. The award is decided by a coach’s vote. Athletes are evaluated on the basis of athletic participation, athletic ability (which counts double), sportsmanship, scholarship and leadership.

Elizabeth Timas received the Jo Harris Award for 2014. Jo Harris was a teacher at Cardinal for many years.
