Monarchs Take Flight

Notre Dame Elementary School students in grades K-4 have been getting a “bugs” eye view studying monarch butterflies in enrichment class taught by Sr. Barbara Soplata. All of the monarch caterpillars were found in the butterfly garden and hay fields located on the NDES campus grounds.

The students observe the changes that occur each week as the caterpillars grow into the beautiful monarch. All monarchs will be set free for their long migration to Mexico for the winter.

Welcome Back to NDES

Are you willing to be the light of Christ? The students at NDES celebrated the beginning of the new school year with a welcome back Mass.

During the Mass, new students and faculty were introduced. NDES is growing and flourishing, but maintains small class sizes offering more resources to each student. Students educated through NDES will have the necessary tools to face the challenges of tomorrow’s world.

Notre Dame Elementary Preschool will be offering a Mommy and Me class for children 18 months to 3 years old. The cost for the entire six-week session is $90.
