Breeders and Feeders

The club finished off the year with the Great Geauga County Fair where members all had fun showing, winning ribbons, selling their market animals, and of course, eating fair food. The club had its end of the year picnic and discussed its next fundraiser.

The Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival takes place Oct. 4 and 5 at the corner of routes 528 and 322. The Breeders and Feeders will have games and baked goods for sale along with vegetables from members’ gardens. They will also be selling turkey raffle tickets. Geauga Caprine Kids

As another 4-H year comes to an end, Geauga Caprine Kids invites the community to join them for this coming year’s fun. The club is very involved with both its members and the community. There are many different fundraisers, community service projects and members even go on field trips. The meetings are always fun, even the business parts, and the older members are always there to help out the younger kids when needed.

The members of Geauga Caprine Kids would like to invite the community to join them for their end of the year wrap-up party. There will be a bonfire, much food and tons of fun. Come meet the members and see how much fun being a 4-H member can be.

To attend, please contact Heather Lane at hlane1975@gmail.com. She will provide the time and location as well as answer any questions one may have. (Submitted by Justin Lane, news reporter)
