CMS Staff Shares the Warmth
This week as the weather turns colder and snow is in the forecast, caring staff members and their friends from Cardinal Middle School graciously donated more than 20 blankets to the homeless. Sister Breen, of the Sisters of Notre Dame, ministers to the very poor and homeless. She goes to visit with them on Sunday evenings, talks with them, sometimes shares a meal and provides them with clothing.
This time of year, their greatest need is protection from the elements. The blankets donated have already warmed the people for whom she serves. It is an ongoing mission.
Donations of any items from clothing to appliances are accepted.
